Sweet lord when's the last time I made something out of that Prehistoric muck we call MS Paint? =|

Oh well, I decided to draw Li'l Mac from Punch-Out . . . . don't ask why, the answer will be revealed in due time. |D

. . . . . god I felt rusty making this xD

Awesome work! I'm not much of a MS Paint fan either. Photoshop seems to have more options and diversity. :P

I'm not sure whether to be happy about you calling MS Paint a "Prehistoric muck" because I'm still able to make good art with it, or whether I should be angry. Either way, Unless you were going for a sharp and pixel-ly look, you could have used some anti-aliasing on this. You might also want to clean up some of those jittery pixels like the one midway up Mac's left arm. The flatness of the mouth is also a distraction, and you could have made it 1 pixel thick on the ends and 2 pixels thick in the center.

Using MS Paint can tell us a lot about an artist, as its simplicity reduces an art to its elements. If you are having trouble making something look sharp and clean in MS Paint then I suggest you take your drawing a bit slower and be more thorough with the cleanliness of your lines. On the other hand, I can hardly use any programs other than MS Paint, so it shows that I'm strong in my sharpness but weak in my embellishment. ;)

P.S. This would go under Non-Iso Characters. >.<

LOL, oh well, I'd say start with simple designs and then keep going from there if you ever consider. :)

I'm more used to pencil and paper than with paint. I'm trying to get back into the habit of doodling now that I'm taking summer off from college.

I can do a few things with non-photo blue pencils, though most of the stuff I've up is pretty old.
